These are the birth certificates of my father's parents.Maria Guiseppa Filomena Dragone, was born on October 11, 1903.
My grandfather, Michelangelo Frieri, was born September
23, 1903.
As teenagers, my grandparents left Cairano and
landed at Ellis Island, eventually settling 150 miles north
in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
On November 20, 1922, they were married.
My grandfather, Mike Frieri, died on
Feb. 25, 1981 at the age of 77.
My grandmother, Joesphine, died at the age of 88,
on January 7, 1992.
Both are buried in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
